Your winter holiday in the Ötztal · ski bus at the doorstep
Winter in Oetz.
Sunny slopes in Hochoetz, natural ice on Lake Piburg — and the ski bus stops at our door.
When the first snow dusts the mountains around Oetz, perhaps the most relaxed kind of winter holiday begins: the family ski area of Hochoetz sits directly above the village, the ski bus stops outside the front door of Urlaubsplatzl — and if you want more, Sölden and Kühtai are around half an hour away.
Away from the slopes, the Ötztal shows its quiet side: cross-country trails through the valley, natural toboggan runs, natural ice on Lake Piburg and snowy winter walking paths. These are the five winter classics in and around Oetz.

Skiing in Hochoetz — the ski area on the doorstep
The Acherkogelbahn takes you from Oetz straight up to the sunny family ski area of Hochoetz: perfectly groomed slopes, wide runs, ski schools and cosy huts included. The ski bus stops right outside our front door — current timetables are in your apartment. And for World Cup air: Sölden and Gurgl are around half an hour up the valley, Kühtai about 25 minutes away.
